Dwaraka Shaligram

The Dwaraka Shilas found near the sea at Dwaraka. Gomati river meets the sea is known as Chakra Teertha. It is said that Lord Vishnu present here in the form of Dwaraka Shila. It is one of the holiest places in India. 

Dwarka or Dvaraka is derived from 'Dwar' (door) and 'Ka' ( 'Brahma') meaning gateway to Moksha (salvation). It is also called Dwarkamati and Dwarkavati or Dvaravati. The Nageswar Jyotirlinga near Dwaraka is made of a large Dwaraka Sila.
